Connestee Falls has over 3900 acres of wooded home sites encompassing 55 miles of paved roads, a central water system and a sewer system in close proximity to the lakes and golf course, underground utility lines, DSL Internet connection and cable TV services throughout most of the community. Elevations range from 2,400 to 3,280 feet above sea level. There are four mountain lakes which provide fishing, boating and swimming. Mountain streams and hiking trails also abound in the community.

Connestee has two recreational parks with picnic tables and grills. Atagahi Park has playground equipment and a roofed pavilion, plus an enclosed swimming area with sand beach for the children.

George Cobb designed golf course offers you the perfect golf experience... challenging greens, beautiful layout, scenic views and extremely quiet spectators. Other than your cart or ball, the only thing crossing your fairway will be the wildlife.

All common property in Connestee Falls is controlled and owned by the property owners association, while over 200 individual members serve as volunteers on committees to render services and provide a wide range of activities.

Once you arrive in Western North Carolina, you'll often find Connestee Falls itself to be the best possible reason for living here. The friendly, helpful, cooperative residents form an unusual, perhaps unique community spirit that makes Connestee Falls such a wonderful place to live.

Connestee Falls is located a short six miles from Brevard, NC nestled in the cool foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Connestee Falls is ecologically designed to preserve the natural environment, and an uncrowded, unpolluted, unhurried way of life. Deer and other wildlife roam free at your back door. There is as much to do, or as little to do, as one desires … from planned recreational and social activities to small shared interest groups.

Nearby, Brevard College and Blue Ridge Community College offer a full range of continuing education programs on a year round basis. Choose from a curriculum of Appalachian arts and culture, music, language, physical fitness, wildflowers and an annual lecture series - or enjoy many of the year round performances at Brevard College’s Porter Center, Brevard Little Theater or Transylvania Arts Council.
