Doom Lurking? Is it the Dreaded CRASH?
As I was sitting in front of my computer as I do 75% of my day working away trying to create this blog, I heard this low grinding noise coming forth from my laptop. Beads of virtual sweat covered by face as fear started to bubble up inside me. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks – what if the dreaded CRASH is about to happen – what will I do? The bulk of my business is dependent on this silly machine I sit in front of most of the day.
Six months ago words like Twitter – Social Networking – Blogging – didn’t mean a thing to me. I was happy to search the web a bit – email back and forth – up date my web site as needed. But today it is a whole new universe. Changes are happening so fast – new and improved systems are coming out at a record pace – snail mail is becoming a thing of the past – email is being replace by twittering and posting on face book. So the question of the day is – can we live without the internet or our computer? An interesting question to ponder – for now I am just happy I am backed up and still computing! How about you?
