I was stuck when viewing the video below how true the statement is “When you have a house for sale, You are selling space”. We all acquire many treasures through the years and furnish our homes for comfort not for show. We have lots of furniture so friends and family can gather and enjoy, we display our collections on tables and shelves, and decorate with our favorite color pallet.
When preparing our home to sell it is important to think “model home”. Less furniture will make the space look larger along with a neutral color pallet with a splash of color enhancing a focal point like a fire place. Packing & moving treasures & collections will give a desired end result by enabling the perspective buyers to imagine and picture their treasures in your space.
