You can’t see it – You can’t smell it – You can’t taste it – The sugeon General has listed Radon as a Class A carcinogen, which means that it is Cancer causing. Radon is the nation’s 2nd leading cause of lung cancer. Elevated levels of radon have been found in all types of homes: old and new – those with basements and those without.  Radon is found in elevated levels throughout Western North Carolina and Transylvania County is located in Zone 1 category.
