Sarah Hysong is the owner and Broker of Connestee Falls Realty. A Brevard, NC native, Sarah began her career in corporate finance and planning; a background that helps her bring endless local expertise and financial savvy to every showing. Supporting communities and building lasting relationships are close to her heart — and ensures her team of Local Experts deliver the best customer service in Transylvania county.
Hi there! I am one of the few who had the pleasure of growing up with our state and national forests as my backyard. Wired to wander and explore new communities, I attended UNC-Wilmington after graduating from Brevard High School. I then moved to Charlotte, NC, and began my career with TIAA Financial Services. In 2013 I chose to leave the comforts of that job (and the United States) to serve two years with the Peace Corps in Moldova, Eastern Europe. While there, I assisted in the development of local infrastructure including youth leadership programs, civic education, and engagement, as well as new partnerships for public amenities. It was the hardest and most rewarding experience of my life.
In 2015, I returned home to plan my next adventure. Little did I know it was waiting for me here! While working as an agent for Connestee Falls Realty, I fell in love with Brevard all over again. Assisting buyers and sellers in all walks of life was just one of the many things that made real estate a natural fit for me. Helping them fall in love with our beautiful area was easy. In January 2020, I purchased the company and met my husband, Ben. We are happily married and live in the Connestee Falls community with our pup, Tito.

We have been looking to buy a house in the mountains for 10 plus years and I could never find an area that I truly loved until I contacted Sarah.
